Sunday, May 19th is the Day of Pentecost, which is often referred to as the birthday of the church. We would like to encourage everyone to wear red, yellow, or orange to represent “the tongues of fire” that appeared as the gathered disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. We will have 12 cakes (for the 12 months of the year) in the Parish Hall following the 10 o’clock service. All attending will stand around the table of their birth month as we sing Happy Birthday to the Church. Then we will celebrate with cake, punch, and lemonade.

The next Men’s Fellowship evening will be held on May 30 at 4×4 South in Fremont Hills (located at 9003 Sawgrass Ave, Nixa, MO 65714) from 5 to 8 p.m. See you there!
