Young at Heart Wine and Cheese Events
Please mark your calendars now for these upcoming Young at Heart events.  Young at Heart is a time of fellowship for the adult members of Christ Church and their guests.  There is usually a small fee to cover the cost of refreshments or activities.  It is a great time to visit with a wide range of ages (late 20’s to 80+) and people from all of the different services-you may see people you didn’t even know attended your church!  We have three Wine and Cheese parties scheduled for the rest of this year.  There is a $5.00 charge per person and anyone who is willing is asked to bring an appetizer to share.

Dinner for 8
By popular request, our Dinner for 8 fellowship is coming back!  There will be some new updates to the groups, so please take a few minutes and read through the changes.
·Most importantly, please understand that Dinner for 8 (Df8) is just that–dinner for eight people, not only for four couples.  Everyone is welcome!
·For this year, we are going to have one session of Df8 which will be held from July–December.  If all goes well, we will have two sessions next year; January–June and July–December.
·Each Df8 group will be asked to meet 4 times during that six-month period.  This will require 4 people in each group to agree to host one evening.  It is preferred that the groups meet in homes with everyone contributing to the meal; however, you may meet at other places (the church or a park, for example).  One person in each group will be the designated coordinator to make the initial phone calls.
·If you are interested in participating in a Dinner for 8 group, please respond by July 19th.  You may phone Liz Conner at 885-7058 or e-mail her at:                                         .  Or, you may complete the form in the Sunday bulletin and return it to the church office or put in the collection plate on Sunday.
·Dinner for 8 is a fun way to get to know members of Christ Church.  We hope you will consider this fun fellowship! Bon appetite!
